940 Front End Noise 900

'92 945 turbo has a left front end 'clunk'. Most notable during braking but also when driving slowly over uneven surfaces.

Things already done to fix;

new struts (KYB)
new strut mounts
new tie rod end
new ball joint
engine mounts
trans mount
alignment

Things examined;

wheel bearing
brake caliper
sway bar and saddle bushing

My theory is brake pads loose (unlikely) or worn, compressed thrust (conical) bushings.
