B234F Valve train tapping Noise ( 16 valve ) Question ... 700

Is the valve train on the 16 valve b 234F engine significantly noisier than B230f 8 valve ?
I'm looking to buy a low mileage 16 valve car in really nice shape, but a bit spooked as the valves on the 16V seem much noisier than my b230f, and I'd thought they'd be quieter, given they have hydraulic lifters.

Are there any valve train issues I should be aware of ??
