Hello,

There is a white, long thin metal (aluminum?)/accordion-looking vent pipe that starts under the fan and toward the lower intake manifold on the passenger side on my Volvo 240 1991. If one looks from the top, it is below the radiator hose. Could anyone tell me what it is?

Mine broke at the tip of the receiving end of the pipe. Maybe I can get by getting a right size ring clamp. I am thinking about ordering one if there is a new one on the market.

Or should I just ignore it even if it is broke? Thank you.
