I posted this on the 444-544 page where there was a very old thread about this particular Fuel Pump.
With the glass bowl and priming lever it is the best thing on the car and yes I believe it is original to my '64 1800S.
My question is, as parts are only now readily available to repair the pump diaphragm and valves, has anyone tried to remove the #12 Retainer P/N234003 to replace the #11 Seal Washer P/N234002? The seal should be easy enough to replicate, it appears to be rubber impregnated fabric weave, the retainer however needs to come out without damage because is unlikely to be available anywhere.
