Hassle with heater temperature in habitacle 900

Hi everybody

After having resolved my motor hesitation problem, I want to go on with the next issue:

When I put the habitacle heater on in the car it goes on full blast and overheats for about 30 min to 1 houer. Then it kinds of starts to mesure the actual heat and cuts at the chosen temperature.
It kind of feels like as if the internal temp sensor (where could it be? 😚) is not working as it should. But the kicks in after a while. Maybe it is dirty ? Broken ? Something else to check ?

Thanks once more for your thoughts. I have a 98 wagon 940 with LPT, with automatic heating control / clim (clim not working)

Have a great weekend,
Eric 🎩
