SHOCKS / STRUT CARTRIDGE RECOMMENDATION 200

1980 Volvo 245
Need to replace shocks and struts. Daily driver occasionally load few hundred pounds in the back of the wagon.
Any recent experience with KYB or Monroe brands would be appreciated - I know Bilstein is available but $$.
