Hi there,

My 242 decided to start leaking coolant.

at first it appeared to be coming from the water pump.

now I filled it up and ran the car with a light underneath, and it appears to be leaking out the whole side of the engine.

it drips in a line along the bottom of the engine.. it was too cold last night for me to see where, but is this a sign of bad times?

I lost a gallon in one day on Monday.

refilled and it's not leaking quite so fast, but still...

what is the basic check procedure?

I checked the oil for coolant and there isn't any.

also, the coolant on the ground has no oil in it.. it's nice and green.
