240 Cold Start & Power 200 86

Purchased a used 1986 240 DL with 150,000 miles that had been well maintained by Volvo Dealer. Problem: When starting cold engine, idle is rough and engine surges on acceleration. After engine is warm, idle is smooth and acceleration is slow (low power). Car will cruise at 70 mph on straight away, but takes a while to get up to speed. Engine temperature reads in normal range. No codes are present. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
