Rich idle / erattic running 700 1986

Have B230FT engine that runs beatifully. Unfortunately though it can be erattic on initial fire up and run rough, over rich, until revved.

Air flow meter could be the problem?

I have cleaned it out, cleaned out all vacuum pipes, CIS valve vleaned and OK. Plugs new, dist cap and rotor arm new, plug leads new.

Engine can sometimes fluctuate 750-900 rpm on idle when this occurs.

Compressions good.

Any pointers greatly appreciated.
