power steering and tranny flush 900 1995

If I flush the tranny fluid on my 95 940,, which line on the radiator is the return line that I need to uncouple(the upper or lower line). Also is there any special washer or compression fitting needed when reconnecting the line??? Any special concerns removing the line at the radiator other than using flare wrench not to strip the fitting?? Also does opening at radiator need to be plugged?? Also on power steering return reservoir..is the upper thinner hose the return?? .Given the difficulty with engine on keeping new fluid going into the reservoir to keep up with the fluid draining out..isnt it easier to do this and safer to remove wire at coil and crank engine for 20-30 seconds.. im worried I wont be able to keep up with the outflow and pump will temporarily dry out.. Thanks JOHN
