filter woes be gone! 200 1984

It always seems easy when it's over. I was going over

the schematic the twentieth time and I figured it had

to be between the 25 amp fuse and the wiring in the car.

I was determined to go step by step and I got

no further than the twenty-five amp fuel injection fuse.

It was bad. I had checked it and the ohm meter beeped, maybe

the probes touched each other and I missed it. It must have

popped when the pump wires lost their insulation. The fuse in

the fuse box was fine. Re-reading the Bentley manual confirms

that you needn't remove the battery cable.

Well, I will next time! Thanks for all the suggestions.
