rough idle and low power 200 86

i have a 1986 240dl. I have a problem with a rough idle and extremly low

engine power. on cold starts on warm as well as cold days, I will try to accelerate and the engine speed will cut out on me then pick back up to normal constantly until the the engine warms up. the car has 160,000+ on it. It is fuel injected and I replaced the distributor cap, and spark plug

wires.
