no power steering 200 82

I just finished doing the a/c compressor delete. I got everything back together but it seems that i have a new problem. The power steering pump lines are connected and the belt is properly tensioned, but when i turn the wheel its just like turning the wheel on a non power steering car. There is no power assist, the pulley on the pump is turning but i still have no power steering. Is there something that i forgot to do, or did i do something wrong when i was putting the p/s pump back on the car?
