Which coil is the best? 120-130

Hello,

Just wondering which coil is a better choice for my 122. I was working last night on the 122 and noticed that the spark is inconsistant. Seems like the coil is shot. I did get it off the shelf in the garage labled "questionable," because I was in a hurry. Is this a logical thought? The plugs and wires are slightly used in another car, and the rotor and cap are new. Battery is taking a beating with testing and what not, but still good.

It has a Crane XR3000 electric unit. I've read somewhere that blue coil = points, condensor and red coil = electric ignition. Is this true? What about other brands than Bosch? I've seen plenty of others around. Some claim to be able to light up small towns or sporting events...
