Just took off this morning going to the store, and I heard some wining like the spacers in my front wheels used to do. Then I smelled burning rubber, and thunk thunk thunk... Now what is broke is the thing just after the tranny, it is about 10 to 12 inches behing the tranny, it hold the driveshaft just before it goes to the main shaft that goes to the diff. There is what looks like a bearing, with rubber around it, but the rubber is now pretty much gone. Anybody else have this problem?? What is that part called?? How much is it??
