I have an 84 242Ti that has a steadily, though slowly, worsening shaking in the front. The stearing wheel vibrates and the car shakes lightly, also the car seems to drift slightly at highway speed. All problems develope at about 55mph and continues through 80mph, and then smooth out again. durring braking form highwayspeed the problem gets noticably worse. This makes me think of a stuck calliper/warped rotor, but why only at certain speed? Tires are ballanced and I have rotated them with little effect. The steering rod, running from the rack to the wheel, has some play. Is this play the result of another problem or is it the cause of the problems?
