How do change intank fuel pump/Sending unit? 700 89

Hi all,

My Volvo '89 760 Turbo needs a new fuel level sending unit. I have the part but I'm wondering how to install it.

If the fuel tank has to be removed from the vehicle to install the unit does anyone have an idea how to do this?
