Do not pay the $615 that volvo want for their poor quality fan motor they fit in the factory, (quality relates to something I would expect to find in a hyundai or the like).

I have just finished (1.5) hours r/r. A holden commodore vc or vh (GM) fan blower motor fits fine cost $20 from the wreckers.

The quality of the gm part is better in my opinion.

You need to connect the purple wire to the blue and black to black.

Change the volvo cage over to the new motor, it fits easy.

Three holes in the holden motor mount. As it is difficult to get a drill in under the dash I used an angle tipped small soldering iron to burn the holes in the plastic housing and bolted the motor in with hex head self tappers.

Works every bit as well as original. The only problem now is what to do with the $595 I have left over.
