My car was put on the dyno thingy. At 15mph, it passed, but at 25mph, it failed the hydrocarbon part. I think I had a 140 out of the max. of 108. What is the culprit for such a high hydrocarbon level? Will this be easily remedied? Also, my wagon failed the idle part as well. Can I adjust the idle myself or will this require professional skill?
BTW, I live in southern CA. I forgot to ask the tester if my test was serious in regards to a 140/108 hydrocarbon level. Is it? I really hope I'm not looking at EXPEN$IVE repairs! I love my wagon! Thanks.
