16 Valve head on B230FT 900 1991

Hi All;

I want to know if anybody out there has tried to adapt the 16 valve, dual cam cylinder head from the 700 series cars to the B230FT turbo 4 cylinder engine????

I know the cam belt/pulley system is different because of the dual cams and the balance shafts but it seems to me that this convesion could be made to work.

Are the balance shafts really necessary on this engine? Aren't there some aftermarket valves which would fit this head and be up to turbo duty??

Any input appreciated.
