help, please.in my 1988 740 GLE, my interior dome lights won't come on when i open the driver's door. They work with all three other doors. Someone suggested a poor ground so i removed the screw holding the pin and put it back in. nothing. someone else suggested the pin might be stuck in the quarter-turn position that can be used when you want the light off while the door is open for working on the car for extended periods. i made sure the pin was in the normal position. nothing.

any other ideas? could the switch be bad? i removed the leads and cleaned them but still nothing.
