Installing Small Tach in 245DL 200 1986

Here's a simple question: I have a DL model and it has the large clock on the instrument/speedo guage cluster. I have a oem small 2" tach that I would like to mount in the auxilliary slot next to my radio. How do I do this, or more specific, are the tach wires already in back of the guage cluster, do I just have to route them to the small tach or pass-through the clock? Hopefully they'll be there and it'll save me the time of having to route new wires from the engine bay. Thanks in advance!!! Jay.
