Location of fuel check valve 200 1981

Where is the fuel check valve located on an 81 240 w/CIS? On my 84, it screws into the end of the main fuel pump, but it doesn't look like it is like that on the 81 I'm working on. What does it look like and where is it located/attached to. Thanks.
