Relays on Expansion Tank 700 90

This is related to my recent "loss of power" post. On my 1990 740 there are two relays on the expansion tank. Is one of them for the radio supression (lurking Fuel Relay)? What is the other one for? Which is which? Can I just swap connectors to diagnose? My wife just called to report the car lost power 5-6 times while driving today, no Tach drop. Great weekend ahead for me.
