O2 Sensor? 900 1993

My "check engine" light came on and I noticed hesitation/stuttering upon heavy or sudden acceleration. When I checked for codes I got 2-3-2, 2-3-1 and 2-2-1 (all having to do with "mixture too rich/lean"). I erased the codes but the "check engine" light came back on immediately after re-starting the engine. This time the codes were 2-3-1 and 2-2-1. Again I cleared them and re-started the engine, the same codes returned immediately.

My limited knowledge tells me that I should start by replacing the O2 sensor and see if that fixes the problem. The only thing is that the dealer wants $340 (cdn) for an O2 sensor. The other thing is that the ECU did not flash the code for a malfunctioning O2 sensor and I don't want to spend that kind of money to find out that it was some other problem.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
