Squeak in the console 900 1995

My 1995 960 wagon has an annoying high-pitched piercing squeak coming from the console. It's almost constant on these rough, frost-heaved pavements.

I can make it stop if I push down hard on the edge of the console, between the hand brake and the passenger seat. That's about the only thing I've found that will stop this squeak.

Does anyone have any suggestion on what to tighten/shim/lubricate to make this stop? It's not loud but it's extremely annoying.
