exhaust--stock or aftermarket? 200 80

Have to replace the muffler on my 80 44.As this is not a turbo,would I get much benefit from going with an aftermarket unit,i.e borla,or should I just stick to stock.The car has 180K and I'm almost positive the muffler is the original part.Hard to beat that kind of longevity.Most of my driving is highway,so I thought a free flow might give a bit better mpg?

I'd appreciate any suggestions
