Remote auto trans filter? 200 all

I was wondering if there would be any problem in installing a remote oil filter and bracket under the hood. I was thinking of running the auto transmission outflow through this filter then on to the cooler. I assume a oil type filter would work well for trans fluid. Would there be any problem with pressure drop or flow rate?
