Problem solved: water in "spare weel well" 900 93

Some time ago I asked for help finding the drain for the storage space below right side lid in rear floor of my ī93 945 wagon. And olso help on possible source of leak.

Somebody suggested e.g a window leak in rear right glass, or a leak in from rear light assembly.

Checked that out. No leak. Dug deep into water/crud in afflicted space. Yep-as suggested there is some kind of drain, but totally occluded, so water canīt be coming in there (and not going out, either).

On the outside of car, on close inspection inside of rear wheel, I find a hole in "frame" about 10 to 10.30 direction of wheel, viewd from right side. Looking on the frame on the left side of car this same hole is plugged with a plastic spacer. This must obviously be the place where water and crud is pushed into car, when driving in rain.

Gonig to Volvo dealer today to see what they ask for this little thingy, and with it in place see if problem goes away.

Thanks for help + hope you guys with similar problem might get som help from this info
