I was looking through the posting below about 240 dashboard cracks, and it got me to wondering...

Is there anything out there that might help prevent the dash from cracking? Somehow or other, the dash of my 145 has no cracks, which seems pretty rare for any Volvo...let alone one thats 30 years old. I'd like to keep it that way. I have a cover to put over it when its hot out, but I'd like to take as many precautions as possible.

Does armour-all actually help protect vinyl, or does it just make it slimy and shiney?

BTW...She begins her 30th year of life this month! Happy birthday to her!
