Fan Clutch Cunundrum? 200 '79

I am in the process of replacing my water pump/thermostat. I have a single piece fan clutch. None of my three repair manuals give adequate instructions as to how to remove the "single screw " type fan clutch. I am in a quandry, Is this a reverse thread bolt? and, how do I lock up the fan in order to obtain enough torque to free up the screw? As always, thanks.
