Coolant Loss Sensor 700 1988

A few weeks ago, Steve Ringlee stated that McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com)has the float switch (pn 50195k32) to assemble the coolant loss sensor. Should I order the normally open or normally closed switch. Normally open would make sense, but I'm familiar with the switch.
