rear shocks-wagon 700 91

Two questions about replacing rear shocks on the wagon: Does anyone know how to access the top bolt on the shocks (don't see access from the spare wheel well inside, and it's tucked away from underneath the car); and can the job be done by jacking up one side at a time, or must entire rear end be lifted for both? Thanks
