Need advice on aiming euro headlights 200 89

I know I'm close, but want to fine-tune the aim.

At the top of the beam there's a sudden rise, I'll call it the angle. Does the crux go in front of the driver, over to the passenger's side, or in the middle of the car?

Should the two beams match each other as far as angle placement?

Anybody got a trick to get them right easily (i.e. x feet from a wall the beam should be y feet high...)?

Thanks in advance for enlightening me. Sorry if I seem like a dimbulb, but I need to know watt's watt.
