Hello,

Ive got an intermittent misfire that is most noticeble at low rpms. Its a constant putt, putt,putt,putt,putt,putt,puttt type of thing(when it happens)..

I replaced the whole ignition about 12 months ago(cap,rotor,wires, and hall effect)Then I put a set of platinums in 10/00. Im just wondering if the plugs have anything to do with it.

The other day my daughter had the car over here, and I found a wire loose at the dist cap. That seemed to solve it. But then about 4 days later it started the same misfire.

I havent seen the car since. she called and told me about the problem. I expect to lay hands on the car sometime today. Of course the first thing is to see if the wire possibly worked loose again. But if thats not the problem, then...
