760 stopped running after fuel-up 700 1987

I put some gas in my empty tank. and two blocks away it stalled and would not start. I opened the gas cap and it started.

I put a new fuel filter on recently.

I had problems last summer while it was hot(95+ 100+),the car would not

start after sitting for 12 hours. I didnt solve the problem,the weather

changed.

Does the gas cap go bad? or is there a charcoal filter that gets plugged?

My car has 150k.

Also my ignition switch cuts off the SRS ,lights and radio.I wiggle the key. It works.
