first time with the air filter 200 90

Hi all,

According to the PO's records, now is about the time to change the air filter. So, I bopped down and bought the funky looking air filter, returned home and popped the hood. I unclipped the clips, wouldn't budge. Unscrewed the hose clamps past the filter, still wouldn't move.

OK, I've had the car for about 8 months and now I can't figure out how to change the air filter! What is the trick? Nothing in the owner's manual. I SHOULD own the Gothenberg Bible, I suppose. Did Volvo want people to only change the air filter at the dealer?
