Radio code 700 1990

I have just purchased my first Volvo a 1990 760 turbo. I was reading the manual for the radio a sr-7145 with a cassette. I am concerned with the anti theft code which I cannot find anywhere in the manuals left in the car. I want to hook up a cd changer but I am afraid I will kill the radio in the process. Does anyone know if there is a code workaround or if a dealer might be able to reset the radio.
