Ok I'm not sure if these problems are in any way related, but from the "fun" that I have been having with my recently purchased 760 Turbo Intercooler I would not in the least bit be surprised if they were.

Problem #1 The instrument cluster is 90% dead: No tach, speedo, electric gauges and most warning lights. The clock High Beam, parking and overdrive lock out warning lights all work (though the overdrive warning light works in reverse). All of the connections seem secure on the back, but I'm not sure what has been done on this car before I got it and I can't find a wiring diagram for the back of the cluster to even begin to diagnose it I don't know where to begin.

Problem #2 When driving on the highway it will only remain in overdrive reliably for about 1/2 an hour. After that point it seems to jump out under the slightest load. I have drilled cooling holes in the overdrive relay cover as recommended earlier in the board to no avail.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea how this car has been "fixed" prior to my purchase of it. I am at present "unfixing" everything and "trying" to return the car to a safe operational status. Fingers crossed.
