Drive belts 700 1990

I recently bought a 1990 740GL (non turbo). What is the size of the belt that goes around the Crank, fan, and power steering pump? It is supposed to be the same size as the belt that goes around the alternator. But mine does not tighten up even being at the very end of the belt tightening bolt.
