760 Radius Rod Replacement 700 1989

Just finished replacing the radius rod bushings on my 760 T Wagon. Swedishbrick FAQ notes would have you think one hour done and gone. My right side bushing on the back side if the control arm was fused to the control arm. An hour of scraping and burning later, I'm back into the "replace the bushings" part of the job. I'm not sure what would have worked best, but I used a screwdriver, utility knife, propane torch, and Buck knife (in other words, everything I could find). The car has 149 k miles and the new bushings have damped the front end shake but not eliminated it.

Any thoughts out there on whether or not severely worn motor mounts could contribute to front end vibes during braking? They're next on my list, I already have the parts. I checked the fan shroud and the fan has rubbed it a little bit already, but it isn't in constant contact. The rubber bumper is almost sitting square on the cross member, so I'm sure the mounts are toast, I just want to know if the mounts are contributing to the front end shake. The rotors aren't warped, so I'm guessing it's either from the motor mounts or bushings somewhere else in the front end.

Thanks,

Mike Yox
