Selecting an 80s Volvo 200 1979

Our 1979 245 DL (B21F, manual, 170K) has rusted to the point where, alas, it must be retired. It's a shame, because it still runs and drives beautifully. My question is this: I hope to find a rust-free '79 240 or 245 (and use Rusty as a parts car) somewhere, but if I cannot locate one I will shift my search to an 80s vintage Volvo. Does anyone have anything by way of advice on models years which offer a better bet, all other factors like maintenance, miles, etc., about the same? Any "dark years" during the 80s I should stay away from? FWIW, I have done most of the upkeep and repair on my Volvo and realize older vehicles like the ones I'm looking for won't exactly be trouble-free. Thank you for your help!

Mike
