CAR is stuttering after engine wash! HELP!!!!!! 200 88

How's everybody?

Did something stupid today.Hope I can releive this problem. Today I went to the carwash to rinse off the dirt and decided to clean the engine. I left the car running sprayed some water over the engine couple of times.I did not do this for a long time.As soon as i left the bin, my car stated sputtering.The whole damn engine was shaking and the idle became slower. So I pulled over and left it running.It contined so I took a chance to get my brick home.While driving though,mycar would not exccelerate. Ichecked the distibutor cap and it was dry.What else can I do? PLs Help. THANks
