I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Mitsubishi TD05-12B turbo? Apparently I've got one on my '89 745ti. I'm going to shorten the waste gate actuator rod to increase the boost pressure (can I do this on a TD05?). I've heard something about an overboost switch somewhere under the dash? Will messing with the actuator rod cause the overboost switch thing to shut the fuel off? How do I prevent this? Also, I'm looking into a Turbo Plus upgrade. What do I do with the overboost thing then? Also, where is this overboost thing so I can mess with it in the first place?
