Timing Problem? 200 1984

I have an 1984 240 DL since new. Changed plugs,cap, rotor,condensor,cable and points. Adjusted for best timing. It starts well and idles fine for a few seconds then misses and then runs well for few seconds again even at high idle and on the road. Any help.
