heater hose replacement hints ? 200 79

I'm trying to replace the upper heater hose that goes from the side of the engine block to the firewall, and I am having trouble getting the new hose to go through the maze of other hoses and find the nipple that it should fit over. Is it humanly possible to do this without taking off all of the fuel injection stuff ?
