Tail-light help 200 1983

Hi everybody.

I had a wreck in november, and finally got the car out of the shop about a month ago. The problem is that when the body shop replaced the back-left quarter-panel, he put the taillight circuitboard from the newer car (an 87, i think) and put it alongside my 83 circuitboard on the right side. So basically the problem is that my lights are going haywire. The problem (or part of it, i think) is that the left side has the three-contact brakelight, whereas the right side has the older-style two-contact.

Visually, my problem is this:

drivers side (US)

--------|--------|--------|

blinker | | |

| | | <--i don't know which light is

--------|--------|--------| supposed to be the brake light,

3 prong | | | and i don't know which are the

| | | running lights. otherwise the lights

--------|--------|--------| go haywire with various combinations of

running lights, lights, brakes,

turn signals, etc.

passenger side

--------|--------|--------|

brake | | blinker|

| | | <--the lights go haywire on this side,

--------|--------|--------| too.

| | 2 prong|

| | |

--------|--------|--------|

If anyone has any insight, or (hopefully) has had the same problem and knows how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.
