Found a 90 760, loaded, all the bells and whistles. Teal green, nice tan leather, 256k miles, turbo one owner. The turbo is definitely shot, motor runs a little rough at idle but seems tight yet. Poor power on accelaration i would assume due to the bad turbo. When the turbo is bad will the car react this way. Would the bad turbo have hurt the engine at all? No smoke coming from the car but you can hear the turbo clanging and tearing itself apart. Body is mint and overall condition of car is quite nice, would look near mint after a good cleanup. I have 2 turbos in two different junkyards near me, beleive they are both 87's. Will the turbo units interchange with the 90 unit and how much of a PITA would it be to do the swap? I can get the car for around $100. bucks. Any and all input would be appreciated... TIA Tom Wasney 240aholic
