Thanks for everyone's input-

One more question about this, I swear! If the M46 uses type F auto trans. fluid, why couldn't I just use Mobile synthetic ATF fluid? It's pretty cheap and readily available around here. The whole point in me changing the fluid is to convert to synthetic on a semi-budget. The Mobile fluid is less than $4 a quart. Thanks again!!
