Man, I'm confused!!
First of all, thanks for everyone's responses. I'm having problems getting accurate readings from my trans. fluid dipstick. Yesterday, I was getting what I consider normal readings, because the transmission has been shifting rough after driving on the highway when I shift from park to Drive or reverse. The dipstick was showing under min., so I filled it up and only had enough fluid to get it just above min.
Well dammit, today I bought another quart of ATF, thinking I need to add a little more, measured the fluid level, and now the plastic level marker is completley covered in fluid, no matter how many times I read it. I just can't tell if I'm overfilled or underfilled. I'm beginning to think that I'm just going to have to dump all of the fluid and start from square one. If I do this, should I just have the filler tube replaced, or should I replace the pan as well?
